Die Sommerausstellung in der Galerie Nothburga bespielen diesmal fünf Künstler*innen aus Südkorea unter der Leitung der Direktorin LEE SEGUIMI:
HYEKYUNG AHN, JEONG SO-YOUNG, KIM EUN-SOOK, PARK TAE-JUN, WOO YONG-MIN
Die Ausstellung Poesie der Natur fokussiert die Balance zwischen Natur und menschlicher Empfindung und gibt Einblick in die typischen Merkmale der koreanischen Kunst. Die Künstler*innen stehen im Spannungsfeld zwischen traditioneller Sumuk Malerei und individueller künstlerischen Ausdrucksweise und betrachten die Natur als ihre große Lehrmeisterin.
Ihre ausgestellten Werke treten in einen aufregenden Dialog zwischen einfühlsamer Naturbeobachtung und ausdrucksstarker Darstellung. JEONG SO-YOUNG, PARK TAE-JUN und WOO YONG-MIN werden direkt vor Ort zeichnen und stellen auch Arbeiten aus, die in Innsbruck und Umgebung entstehen.

Artist Park Tae-jun is a traditional Korean sumuk painting artist. He inherits the tradition of literary painting and creates his own world. Park Tae-jun practiced calligraphy for a long time before painting. Traditionally, scholars drew text and pictures on the same picture and called these paintings “Muni nhwa (literary painting).
Graduated from the Department of Fine Arts, Andong University, master’s degree.
